Northern Red Sea Liveaboard Safaris - (4 - 15 July 2012)

Day 1: Wednesday, 4 July

  • Check in at 18h00 at Johannesburg International airport for flight to Cairo.
  • Flight departs Johannesburg at 21h45.
  • Flying time approximately 8 hours.
  • Dinner and breakfast is served on board the plane.

Day 2: Thursday, 5 July

  • Arrive in Cairo airport at 06h30, met and assisted through customs.
  • You will be transferred to your hotel where you will overnight on a bed & breakfast basis.
  • Optional day tour of either the Pyramids & Sphinx.
  • After which you will return to the hotel to overnight on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 3: Friday, 6 July

  • After breakfast, transfer to domestic airport to check in for flight from Cairo to Hurghada departing at approximately 09h00.
  • Met at Hurghada airport on arrival at approximately 10h00 and transferred directly to live-aboard.
  • Once Port clearance has been obtained, live-aboard departs.
  • The luxury live-aboard offers 5* service, exceptional cuisine, a friendly crew and unlimited diving opportunities.
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily and tea, coffee, soft drinks and bottled water are freely available on board.

Day 3 - 8: Friday, 6 - Wednesday, 11 July

  • Unlimited diving on only the best dive sites in and around Ras Mohammed National Park, including the famous Thistlegorm, Sha'ab Abu Nuhas and Gubal wrecks.
  • Return to port after 2 dives on Wednesday & overnight on liveaboard.

Day 9: Thursday, 12 July

  • Transfer from Hurghada to Luxor (4 hour drive).
  • On arrival check in at 5 Star hotel for 2 nights/3 days accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.
  • Tours of the Valley of the Kings and Queens

Day 10: Friday, 13 July

  • Luxor - Tour of Luxor and Karnak Temples

Day 11: Saturday, 14 July

  • Spend morning at leisure. Check out of hotel & transfer to airport for flight to Cairo.
  • Depart for Johannesburg at 23h30.
  • Dinner & Breakfast is served on board the plane.

Day 12: Sunday, 15 July

  • Arrival time in Johannesburg approximately 07h35
